Price Check: This is a good price for such a large apartment anyway, but as this is an apartment within the very special Albamar complex this is really good price.

General Description of the Area: Another excellent development from the well respected Euromarina Company. The complex is located on the fringes of the town of Quesada going down to and overlooking the La Mata salt flats nature reserve and just a very short drive from the wonderful beaches of Guardamar. This is however a somewhat special development, it is different to most other developments in this part of Spain. This is a real residents community of just 170 properties within a gated and secure perimeter … which makes it sound small and remote … but it is within the Dona Pepa II complex, so it is close to everything! This is a place where one can live, as well as an excellent location for a holiday home. And EuroMarinas top selling design, their ‘Lola’ townhouse is located here, along with a range of other top quality townhouses and apartments, all set around wonderful communal gardens with numerous swimming pools, some interconnecting with waterfalls! This really is something different.

Nearest Airport: 30 minutes drive of San Javier (Murcia) airport. 30 minutes drive of Alicante airport. The new Corvera airport, due to open in 2010 will be about 30 minutes drive away.
Golf: La Marquesa Golf Course is possibly within walking distance, but is certainly just a short drive away. Albamar is within what has become the ‘New Costa del Golf’ with 15 courses within a 25 kilometre radius.

The regions capital city of Alicante is 30 minutes drive.

Our Personal Opinion: If you want a quality townhouse or apartment that is large enough to spend more than just a week in then Albamar is the place for you! The properties are all larger than the usual Spanish norm, and all come with the customary EuroMarina ‘signature’ throughout; well built properties aimed at the discerning international clientele, and not just at the British market, so standards here are high. As with all Euromarina developments Albamar ‘ticks all the right boxes’ so if you want somewhere with it all, in a ‘human scale’ development, next to a town rather than somewhere ‘out in the sticks’ then this certainly is it! And whilst many builders will put in a swimming pool, some grass and a few palm trees, Albamar is set around wonderful communal gardens with numerous swimming pools, some interconnecting with waterfalls! This really is something different and there is a real feeling of homeliness here, in fact it has an ‘Owners Club’ feel to it.
