General Description of the Property: The properties at El Mirador de Alhama are all apartments, built in low rise blocks of just ground floor apartments and above them 1st floor apartments – these are not high rise tower blocks. All apartments either face in to their own communal swimming pools and lush gardens, or else face out to the larger lush gardens around the edge of the Resort. General Description of the Area: This is a Resort of apartments only, over 1,500 in all. There are some 3 bedroom ground floor apartments having a front garden and a wide front terrace, plus a small rear garden. The first floor apartments have 2 bedrooms and a huge roof top terrace solarium. There are 9 separate ‘Gardens’, each with its own groupings of apartment blocks, 8 facing into their own communal swimming pool and set within its own gardens and the remaining one facing into its own lush garden. The remaining apartment blocks face into the larger lush gardens around the outside of the Resort. All apartments sit in a lush garden setting, somewhat park like in appearance. This is mostly a pedestrianised Resort, as no cars have access inside the gardens, so this is a safe place for children to play and a place that gives peace of mind to parents. Many of the communal gardens have their own communal swimming pool with a separate children’s section. El Mirador de Alhama has its own Resort centre called the El Mirador Club with a gym, swimming pool and a chill out bar. Rental Potential: Polaris World spends millions on TV advertising (€18 million budget for 2008). They are creating the interest. If you buy this Polaris World property and wish to rent it out then tap into the interest that the advertising campaign is creating. To assist you further Polaris World have now launched ‘Vacaciones Polaris World’. Golf: 3 Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf courses on site. Not just one but two ‘Bears Best’ courses and the third course being a ‘Signature’ course. As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. Of note is the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the 9 golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, all of which are within Polaris World Resorts, 3 are here on site and all are within a 25 kilometre radius. Close by are other non-Polaris World courses, in total there are approaching 20 golf courses within a 25 kilometre radius! Cafe, Bars and Restaurants: The Resort will have its very own Resort centre called the El Mirador Club with a gym, swimming pool and a chill out bar. Outside of the confines of this particular El Mirador de Alhama Resort are the numerous other Resorts of the much larger Condado de Alhama ‘Super Resort’, so countless leisure and sporting activities will be here, very close by. This is a true ‘Super Resort’, the very first in this part of Spain. The seaside town of Mazarron is just 10 to 15 minutes drive away with all of its typically Spanish cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. The Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia is very close by for a traditional inland and unrushed experience. As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. Beach: The gently shelving, safe and sandy beaches of Mazarron are just about 10 to 15 minutes drive away (for information on Mazarron please select the item ‘Mazarron’ under the bullet point ‘Places of Interest’ in the left menu). Polaris World are also building their own beach club at the end tip of the beautiful La Manga Strip, and the nearest Mar Menor beach is around 25 to 30 minutes drive away (for more information select the item ‘Mar Menor and La Manga’ under the bullet point ‘Places of Interest’ in the left menu). The Polaris World Beach Club La Manga will have café bars and a restaurant with a swimming pool on-site. Our Personal Opinion: These apartments are particularly low priced, are exceptionally affordable, and those in the best positions overlooking the best parts of the communal gardens and swimming pools possibly with further views of the lakes and the golf course beyond will undoubtedly sell fast. They are to be surrounded by lush vegetation and are on slightly higher ground. The Resort itself will have a wide choice of leisure pursuits available, the breadth of café bars and restaurants and the choice of no less than 3 Jack Nicklaus golf courses on-site mean that here should be something for everyone here. Add into the value for money quotient all the things that Polaris World builds in to their Resorts and these properties become tremendous value for money… and they will sell fast!
