General Description of the Property: These Jardin-style 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartments are on the 1st floor with external steps up to a MASSIVE roof top solarium of between 38 and 55 square meters, depending upon the plot. The apartments are particularly attractively priced and are made exceptionally affordable. The apartments face into the communal swimming pool and the communal garden areas, these have lush vegetation. The apartment blocks are on slightly higher ground than the rest of the Resort. Those in the best positions at the top of the Resort overlooking the communal gardens and swimming pools may have further views of the lakes and the golf course beyond, so these will undoubtedly sell fast. General Description of the Area: The ‘Los Naranjos de Alhama’ Resort (‘The Orange Trees of Alhama’) is named after an orange tree – this tree will feature throughout the Resort lining the streets and squares. The ‘Los Naranjos de Alhama’ Resort is a self contained Resort in its own right. It contains its own town centre called ‘El Agora’ which is for the EXCLUSIVE use of residents and guests of Los Naranjos de Alhama and naturally it has its own Club House, its own sports areas and it will develop its own identity. Golf: 3 Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf courses on site. Not just one but two ‘Bears Best’ courses and the third course being a ‘Signature’ course. As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. Of note is the Nicklaus Golf Trail, the 9 golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, all of which are within Polaris World Resorts, 3 are here on site and all are within a 25 kilometre radius. Close by are other non-Polaris World courses, in total there are approaching 20 golf courses within a 25 kilometre radius! Cafe, Bars and Restaurants: At the centre of Los Naranjos de Alhama is the town centre ‘El Agora’, a town centre for the EXCLUSIVE use of residents and their guests of Los Naranjos de Alhama. It will have numerous café bars and restaurants, its own sports zone and its own Club House. At the centre of the Condado de Alhama is the Oasis, built in a Hispano-Arabic style. It has been designed as the largest sports and commercial complex in the whole Murcia region of Spain. So it will be massive! It is neither a typical town centre nor a traditional shopping centre, but an island of wide streets and spacious squares covering 100,000 square meters. It aims to evoke a bustling Arabic quarter with its palm trees and shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, offices and other services to be found here. At one end of the island is an independent island that houses the Banos de Alhama thermal baths, with their hot and cold indoor and outdoor pools, spa and sauna covering 7,000 square meters. At the centre of Condado de Alhama is the huge lake. A sheet of water covering 200,000 square meters, and beyond that the brilliant green of the golf courses. The water from the lake is channelled through the streets of the town centre to form ponds and fountains, and small piers jut out into the lake. Outside of the Los Naranjos de Alhama Resort are numerous other Resorts of the Condado de Alhama ‘Super Resort’, so countless leisure and sporting activities will be here, very close by. This is a true ‘Super Resort’, the very first in this part of Spain. The seaside town of Mazarron is just 10 to 15 minutes drive away with all of its typically Spanish cafés, bars, restaurants and shops. The Spanish town of Alhama de Murcia is very close by for a traditional inland and unrushed experience. As an owner of a Polaris World property, homeowners become members of the Polaris Club, allowing access to all Polaris World Resorts facilities, be they shops, hotels, sports, spas or golf. Beach: The gently shelving, safe and sandy beaches of Mazarron are just about 10 to 15 minutes drive away (for information on Mazarron please select the item ‘Mazarron’ under the bullet point ‘Places of Interest’ in the left menu). Polaris World are also building their own beach club at the end tip of the beautiful La Manga Strip, and the nearest Mar Menor beach is around 25 to 30 minutes drive away (for more information select the item ‘Mar Menor and La Manga’ under the bullet point ‘Places of Interest’ in the left menu). The Polaris World Beach Club La Manga will have café bars and a restaurant with a swimming pool on-site. Our Personal Opinion: The Jardin-style apartments are particularly low priced, are exceptionally affordable, and those in the best positions at the top of the Resort overlooking the communal gardens and swimming pools may have further views of the lakes and the golf course beyond, so these will undoubtedly sell fast. They are to be surrounded by lush vegetation and are on slightly higher ground. The Resort itself will have a wide choice of leisure pursuits available, the breadth of café bars and restaurants and the choice of no less than 3 Jack Nicklaus golf courses on-site mean that here should be something for everyone here. Add into the value for money quotient all the things that Polaris World builds in to their Resorts and these properties become tremendous value for money… and they will sell fast!
